Dragon Ball is back in a big way, and we have its new anime to thank. Earlier this year, the world was introduced to the next chapter in the franchise, all thanks to Dragon Ball Daima. The anime brought to life its premiere in October and began Son Goku's last adventure. Now, the anime is starting its next big arc, and we got a special preview of how the show went down.
After all, series creator Akira Toriyama worked Dragon Ball Daimabut unfortunately he died before the anime could air. Now, some new Toriyama artwork has been posted, and the never-before-seen artwork puts the show's new Majin on high note. So if you want to know how Toriyama imagined Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, you're in luck.
As you can see, the team behind Dragon Ball Daima is gearing up for what's to come, and the anime has a lot in store. The show has been on fire since the first episode and, surprisingly, Dragon Ball has loaded tons of knowledge into the show so far. With less than 20 episodes to his name Dragon Ball Daima released some impressive retcons. From Majin Buu to the Demon Realm to Kai's origins, we've learned a lot about the anime, and there's more in store for Son Goku.
Dragon Ball Daima is putting main focus on the Majin race
What's next for Son Goku as he explores the demon realm?
Of course, one of the biggest pieces of Dragon Ball Daima comes thanks to Majin. The anime wasted no time bringing Dr. Arinsu into the plot, and the scientist became a major threat. After all, the doctor has teamed up with Majin Buu's true creator, and Marba is helping Arinsu with his goals. We don't yet know what these plans are, but they involve the Majin. After all, the scientist created two successors to Majin Buu: Majin Kuu and Majin Duu.
There is no doubt Dragon Ball Daima has big plans for the Majin, and they're not alone. The Demon Realm has been an intense place to explore, but Son Goku is doing his best. With Shin by his side, Goku is going through every level of the Demon Realm to collect the Dragon Balls that turned him (and his friends) into children. Your journey is about to be ambushed by the Majin and Dr. Arinsu, if we had to guess. So if you're not up to date with the anime, you should check it out Dragon Ball Daima on Crunchyroll as soon as possible.
Dragon Ball DAIMA is the fifth series overall in the action-adventure anime franchise. It features most of the classic cast members as aged versions of themselves, including Goku, Vegeta, and Bulma. The series was announced at NYCC 2023, with creator Akira Toriyama returning to manage DAIMA.
