Dragon Ball Daima is all about Majin Kuu, but he might not be the all-powerful villain everyone thought he was

Dragon Ball Daima continues its trend of keeping fans guessing with each new episode. Having been presented as a creation of Marba, the witch who created Majin Buu, Majin Kuu seemed to be a promising new enemy for Goku and your friends to challenge. However, in Daima Most recent twist, Majin Kuu left fans stunned after his less than exciting battle with the Tamagamis of the Demon Realm.

Instead of meeting Marba and Dr. Arinsu's expectations, Majin Kuu's attempt to fight the Tamagami was a heavily one-sided battle. This has left fans questioning not only its usefulness, but also whether he is suitable to combat. The only certain thing is that Dragon Ball Daima will continue to keep fans on their toes throughout the season, and Majin Kuu's arrival is no exception.

Majin Kuu appears to have failed to live up to the hype surrounding its debut

Majin Kuu's battle with the First Demon World's Tamagami was extremely disheartening

When Majin Kuu made his debut in episode 9 he seemed primed to become the next biggest villain. With his loyalty to Arinsu, there would be no risk of him going rogue like Majin Buu did with Babidi, effectively creating a powerful Majin who was under the command of one of the most intelligent characters in the series. Fans expected Kuu to be a force of nature, especially with his arrogance when entering battle with Tamagami and the fact that he was designed to rival and surpass Buu.

However, expectations were quickly deflated when Majin Kuu failed to even hit the first Tamagami. His attempts were almost comical when compared to Goku, who didn't break a sweat against the third Tamagami. Majin Kuu's skill gap shattered the immediate expectation that he would become the series' next biggest threatmuch less a rival of Goku.

Majin Kuu may have a very different role than initially expected by fans

He can sing and do chores, but defeating a Tamagami isn't Kuu's strong suit.

Majin Kuu's inability to defeat the first Tamagami completely redefined what his role in the series might be going forward. When Arinsu declared that she would fire him for his failure, Kuu's reaction was far from what fans would expect from a powerful antagonist. Rather than bending or trying to prove his strength, Kuu recognized the Tamagami's power and suggested that it could be best suited for tasks like singing or running errands.

Dr. Arinsu herself seemed surprised by Kuu's suggestion, further adding to the mystery surrounding her character. Majin Kuu's attempt to position himself as useful outside of combat roles suggests that his strength may lie in unconventional areas rather than raw power. Although its combat capability seemed insufficient, he made a point of mentioning his speedwhich could become his greatest strength going forward. Although not as powerful as many fans expected Dragon Ball Daima has proven his talent for unexpected twists, which means Majin Kuu could still become a worthy adversary for Goku and his friends.
