Dragon Ball Daima introduced key components to its central conflict: Gomah’s uncontested rule over the Demon Realm may have some opponents after all. With the civilians of the Third Demon World feeling the weight of their oppression and a heavy tax taking years off their life expectancy if they don’t pay a worthy tribute, it’s clear that the Demon Kingdom is incubating rival Gomah leaders. But King Kadan of the Third Demon World’s aspirations for a peaceful future by taking on the role of Supreme Demon King would resolve this conflict and potentially explain why. Dragon Ball Daima characters are not Super.
The leadership of the Demon Realm is at a low point with the developments of Dragon Ball Daimaas King Gomah is a much less impartial ruler than Dabura, despite assumptions to the contrary. With Gomah’s ambitions to rule the Demon Realm unchallenged and to achieve supreme power to impose his reign, his threat could spread to other kingdoms if his power grew much more. With Gomah’s rule potentially even more threatening with the potential to create more Dragon Balls, it is imperative that Goku and his friends act quickly. Dragon ball Daima.
Dragon Ball Super does not feature the Demon Realm because it finds peace in Daima
Gomah cannot govern sustainably as he does now
Dragon Ball Daima has a reasonable place in the canon, though it’s easy to hand-wave it as an alternate twist of events in the timeline. Dragon Ball Super does not display the locations entered in Daima because the Demon Realm would have no reason to interfere in the events of other worlds as long as they obtained peace in their world, especially with Majin Buu not being a threat. With the Demon King of the Third World Kadan, Panzy’s father, wishing to restore peace and resolve the Demon Realm situation by dethroning Gomah, Dragon Ball DAIMA resolution means peace for the Demon Realm.
This subtle plot in Dragon Ball Daima indicates the series’ intention to maintain an independent plot, focusing more on showing hitherto unexplored worlds than Dragon ball canon for fans. Future episodes may subtly tie into the plot of Dragon Ball Super in a similar way to Warp-sama’s introduction in episode 1. Still, they will likely stick to recognizing concepts from the franchise’s general canon rather than directly influencing events in the future. That said, the implications of Gomah’s ambitions in Dragon Ball Daima could be huge.
Failing to stop Gomah means more Dragon Balls will be made
Kidnapping Dende is just the beginning
With Dende in captivity from Dragon Ball Daima episode two, and Gomah loving his baby form due to the effects of Goku and his friends’ dwindling desire, Gomah is in a position to one day make new Dragon Balls and directly realize his ambitions. This is a means of preventing the collection of the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls while Neva’s Tamagamis protect each of them.. Creating a new set of Dragon Balls has endless mischievous possibilities, with Gomah’s likely desire to fulfill his other two wishes he planned in Dragon Ball Daima episode one.
Gomah has already done little to present himself as a reasonable ruler, demanding more gold coins from even the impoverished residents of the Third Demon World and making himself an essential enemy in the process.
Failing to stop Gomah and rescue Dende in time would have drastic consequences, and it will be interesting to see how the plot resolves from here. Gomah has already done little to present himself as a reasonable ruler, demanding more gold coins from even the impoverished residents of the Third Demon World and making himself an essential enemy in the process. In Dragon Ball Daima, The likely answer to why the Demon Realm keeps to itself in the rest of the franchise canon is King Kadan’s ambitions.
King Kadan is the most reasonable ruler in Dragon Ball Daima
Also portrayed as a mafia boss
While Glorio downplays King Kadan’s benevolence as “a mafia boss,” Kadan’s daughter Panzy attests to his positive qualities in Dragon Ball Daima episode five. Kadan’s sincere desire for peace is the most reasonable possibility for viewers to accept, short of Panzy taking the throne for himself.. With Kadan being seen more as someone who “robs criminals” and “just kills bad people”, Kadan represents more direct leadership, perhaps archaic, but much better than Gomah’s ostentatious and cruel antics.
Still, there are many considerations about whether the Demon Realm will accept the king of the Third Demon World as its Supreme King. The Second Demon World, for example, has yet to show its people’s opinion of Gomah and could have an ambitious ruler before even considering what Dr. Arinsu or Degesu might want soon. But with these latest developments Dragon Ball Daima, it is clear that Gomah will face a suitable challenge early in his reign.
