For a gunslinger, Glorio isn’t a straight shooter when it comes to his true nature in Dragon Ball Daima. In episode #6, the anime finally reveals more details about Glorio’s employer, opening windows for greater speculation about his role in the politics of the Demon Kingdom. With Glorio revealed to be serving Dr. ArinsuShin’s sister and resident of the First Demon World, new possibilities arise about Arinsu’s ultimate ambitions and what exactly Glorio has to gain.
Glorio was featured in the first episode of Dragon Ball Daimasecretly present at the first meeting between Gomah, Degesu and Dr. Suggested to be from the Third Demon World, he is allowed to work there with the superficial intention of subverting and defeating Gomah. But stopping a would-be tyrant doesn’t seem to be the end of Glorio’s goals, since Dr. Arinsu’s track record suggests her nefarious potential in Dragon Ball Daima.

Diabolical Double Agent
Despite Glorio’s vagueness about who sent him to Earth to rescue Goku and his friends to the Demon World, Dragon Ball Daima episode #6 reveals Dr. Arinsu as her secret employer. The revelation comes when Glorio wanders away from his group’s camp at night, secretly talking to Dr. Arinsu to give his progress report. With only unclear details provided in this brief conversation, he informs her that their plans are going well and that the next steps will take place in a matter of days. It can be guessed that he is hinting at when they will reach their first Dragon Ball in the Demon Realm.
Glory’s motives were always suspicious to Shin in Dragon Ball Daima until now, with the young Supreme Kai shooting knowing glances his way when Glorio dodged intrusive questions. When asked why he wants to defeat Gomah, Glorio only says, “Because he’s a bad person who makes all Majin suffer, obviously.” Shin is dissatisfied and suspicious of Glorioas indicated by him secretly remaining awake during Glory’s conversation in Dragon Ball Daima episode #6.

Dragon Ball Daima Arinsu as a clear type of intrigue in episode #1, where she is present in Gomah’s plans to shrink Goku while hiding her own goals. This is addressed again in episode 6, where Shin clarifies that Dr. Arinsu remained in the Demon Realm despite being a Glind. She is seen as ambitious and choosing “the excitement of the Demon Realm”. With her using Glorio to find someone to defeat Gomah, it’s clear she’s making big moves in the First Demon World, but it’s uncertain what she has over Glorio in Dragon Ball Daima.
