Dragon Age: The Veil Guard tasks new protagonist Rook with saving Thedas from the newly released Evanuris, gathering allies along the way. The result of keeping the Archive is not fully felt in The Guard of the Veil, with the only difference being the type of funeral Bellara holds for Cyrian. If the Archive is freed, Bellara will hold a Dalish funeral for Cyrian, where she will appear genuinely sorry for losing the knowledge. However, that doesn't mean it's a wrong choice.
