Disney Dreamlight Valley player takes horrible photo of Elsa while checking his inventory

ONE Disney Dreamlight Valley fan was startled when he opened his inventory and saw a little more than he expected. Valley of the Light of Dreams is a full-featured title that allows players to interact with their favorite Disney characters in a city that they design and customize. The game features faithful recreations of beloved Disney films and franchises and a story that weaves them together into a cohesive narrative. Part of the game's charm is meeting and befriending personalities who come to life through the Valley's vibrant community of NPCs.

Editor Jay-birdi I didn't expect to get an up close and personal look at one of these characters. They share a video that shows their character going about their day, walking through the valley when they stop to open their inventory. Moments before they do this, Elsa barely enters the frame at the bottom of the screen. Once the inventory is opened, the game goes straight through Elsa's head, presenting the player with a horrifying image of being half-submerged in Elsa's face.

The image is disturbing, with Elsa's eyes appear like black holes and her mouth looks like a child trying to put on lipstick for the first time.. Then the character changes slightly, and her dark absence of eyes turns into perfectly round glowing blue orbs and the lower part of her face appears to fold in on itself. It's a frightening appearance, enough to give anyone nightmares.

Elsa is usually pretty, but this flaw isn't a good look for her

Needless to say, Elsa generally doesn't seem like nightmare fuel. Disney Dreamlight Valley has beautiful performances from its wide cast of lovable personalities, and Elsa, in particular, often looks stunning with her flowing white hair and large, expressive eyes.. The character is one of the game's originals, present from the beginning in the Frozen Realm of the base game, and a lot of care was dedicated to creating her look.

However, that doesn't make the momentary glimpse of the soulless pits where your eyes should be any less disturbing. Most reactions to the video are ripped between laughing at the terrible image and being scared by it. A subject Valley of the Light of Dreams player passing peachcruz9 on Reddit calls the moment “real jumpscare.” About that, Pinha_Erleichda says they “I can't stop laughing,” with other Redditors responding that the scene made them laugh.

Our Take: Disney Dreamlight Valley Can Sometimes Be Hilarious

Failures are rare but fun

Disney obviously cares a lot about its cozy exploration and life simulation, and any visual glitches or inconsistencies that exist in the game are often quickly fixed. But some the hiccups still survive, as with any other large-scale game. For example, Reddit user SparkleWitch92 writes about a time”when Goofy crashed the tent in Forgotten Hollow and his head turned.” The Redditor adds that the experience scared them, as it was so out of place in the otherwise sweet and non-scary game.

Other times, visual flaws result in funny momentslike the time Olaf's head accidentally became part of Ursula's body in a hilarious mashup of the two characters. Although glitches sometimes happen, it doesn't make fans love the game any less. Disney Dreamlight Valley It's a delightful experience enjoyed by many, and players will continue to experience the magic, even if it means occasionally encountering a frightening image that should never be seen.
