Disney Dreamlight Valley player finally completes a quest that took 2 years

For a cozy, relaxing game sometimes Disney Dreamlight Valley can have missions that become incredibly frustrating. Most of the time, these quests may require talking to another villager, catching a certain fish, crafting furniture, or other tasks that are quite manageable. While it may take a while to get the right fish on the hook or gather the materials needed to craft the items, they usually don't take long to complete.

Unfortunately, there is one mission that has caused problems for many players. Reddit user Pleasant-March-5073 recently posted his success on finally completing the Toy story mission to find all the little green men hiding in the valley.

In his post, Pleasant-March-5073 states that It took them two years and four days to find the last of 25 alien toyswith this date referencing when the Toy story characters and quests have been added to DDV. They even tried different tricks to empty their lands of decorations, turn off the music, and other tips that were found online to finish the mission. Finally, during the redecoration of Frosted Heights, the final toy appeared.

Due to the nature of the mission, it will take players at least a few days to find all of the green men for Buzz Lightyear's “Collect 'Em All: Little Green Men” mission. Unlike Woody's similar quest to find some alien toys, Buzz's has no hints provided by any NPCs and only eight or nine of the 25 green men will appear in random locations in a day. These toys can appear anywhere in the valley.

For some players, finding the Little Green Men was quite simple, with the toys appearing in obvious places. However, many other players suffered similar fates as Pleasant-March-5073 and struggled to find them all. As Reddit poster betadoodle024 comments, It's a Christmas miracle that the mission is finally complete.

Our opinion: Some Disney Dreamlight Valley missions are frustrating

Personally, it took me months

While it didn't take as long as Pleasant-March-5073 or some other commenters on the Reddit post, I had a hard time finding these little friends for a few months. The problem comes from nature of the mission being able to randomly spawn them anywhere. This means that if someone spawns in an inconvenient location, players may not find them. In my case, it was stuck behind Fairy Godmother's pumpkin house, right next to a bush that hid it perfectly.

DDV is a relaxing escape for many gamers who want to spend some time in the carefree virtual world surrounded by their Disney friends. Although most missions are quite straightforward and simple, some of them can sometimes be more stressful than players would like. A secret quest to find emerald bottles also left many players angry at the level of the challenge. Although they are easily ignored given the amount of content that Disney Dreamlight Valley has for its players, it can still be a little frustrating.
