Jafar’s first friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is known as “The optics of a second chunke.” To begin this quest, you will first need to unlock Jafar as a villager by completing the main story plot for A rift in time. Moreover, this quest will not be available until you level him up to level 2 friendship.

Help Jafar retrieve his tools
As seen in Akifini’s Gamings video on YouTube, once you’ve started “The optics of a second chance“Talk to Jafar, and he’ll let you know he needs your help retrieving some of his tools. In particular, he needs help finding his polished mirror, 2 photonic levers and power cables.
The first three items can be found in the Cave of Wonders in the Glittering Dunes, but the Power Cables can only be found in EVE’s House. For this reason, you will need to level up your friendship with EVE enough that you have access to her home to start this quest.
Since you should have completed every puzzle in the Cave of Wonders the first time you come through this area in Act 1 of the A rift in time DLC, searching for the tools inside should be a fairly smooth process. This is quite a relief, because looking for these three items is the most challenging part of this job, especially since the last tool can be found in EVE’s house.

Enter the room and make an immediate right, following the path down.
