Digimon and Power Rangers meet in viral crossover All about DigiRangers

Digimon and Power Rangers are without a doubt two of the most popular franchises in the world. Despite not having many aspects in common, these incredible series marked the childhood of many anime fans around the world. One such fan, the talented artist known as @Roheemura_art, created some incredible fan art that celebrates both iconic shows.

The illustrations imagine a world in which the power of the mysterious Crest of Courage gives the Red Ranger the power he needs to defend Earth. The piece is an incredible homage to these iconic franchises, perfectly combining the intricate designs of the Digimon franchise with the power of Power Rangers.

The Red Ranger holds Greymon’s power in this incredible Fanart

The whole set screams digital power

The inspiring fanart published on social media by @roheemura_art shows What would the Red Ranger be like if his power came from one of the Digimoncrests. As leader, he was given the power of courage, previously held by Tai. Due to this change in energy sources, his entire attire was modified, giving him the color scheme and ornaments of the Agumon line of evolution. A large portion of his costume was painted in bright orange, the color of Tai’s iconic friend. The left side contains a deep purple, referencing the tone that adorns MetalGreymon’s wings.

The icing on the cake is WarGreymon’s helmet, which adorns the Ranger’s helmet. However, he’s not the only one who’s received a digital makeover, as his Zord has also been modified to reflect the Greymon Family. The robot adopted the form of a MetalGreymon, holding several weapons that reference Agumon’s evolutions. Overall, the illustration creates a sense of excitement and joy, as the viewer imagines the type of adventure a Ranger would have while in the Digital World.

The illustration is a magnificent tribute to Agumon’s line of evolution

The Zord in particular contains many references to the Greymon family

While @roheemura_art’s entire piece is amazing fanart, the Zord is a true love letter to the Greymon evolution line. The body belonging to a MetalGreymon makes perfect sense, as this cyborg creature was already on its way to becoming a full-fledged automaton. The claw on his right arm appears to be the dreaded Dramon Killers from WarGreymon, an incredible and effortless detail. However, the robot’s most significant addition is the Gray Sword that adorns its tail. This powerful weapon belongs to the imposing and noble Omnimon, one of the most powerful Digimon of all time.

Since this member of the Royal Knights can only be born when a WarGreymon and a MetalGarurumon combine, adding his sword to a Greymon-inspired Zord is extremely creative. This detail also works perfectly with the Power Rangers tradition, as his robots tend to combine to create the iconic MegaZords. The version of this ultimate weapon in Roheemura_art’s universe can use the Gray Sword as his main offensive tool. Every detail of this wonderful fanart demonstrates the love and dedication that the artist put into his work.

Digimon and Power Rangers will forever hold a special place in the hearts of fans around the world. Skilled artists like @roheemura_art combining these two wonderful franchises is a sign of how beloved they are. His incredible piece is a reminder of how much talent fans of these series possess.
