The Young Avengers began to take shape in UCMand Marvel may have confirmed two more members. The current MCU release slate does not yet include a confirmed Young Avengers project, which suggests they could come together for the first time in Avengers: Judgment Day, Avengers: Secret Warsor in one of the as-yet-unannounced projects that lie between the two. It is also possible that the Young Avengers will survive the predicted cataclysm of Avengers: Secret Wars and carry the torch for his fellow veterans in the MCU’s next saga.
Whatever the case, the MCU has been steadily laying the groundwork for the Young Avengers reunion since the early days of the Multiverse Saga. Its debut has been a slow burn for Marvel Studios as hype builds, with any of the MCU’s younger cast members feeling like eligible candidates for the Young Avengers despite comic book precedent. Although the candidacy of certain characters is the subject of much speculation, the MCU has already begun to confirm the first members of the Young Avengers.
The first three young Avengers members were confirmed last year
Ms. Marvel has begun recruiting for the Young Avengers
One of the first candidates for the Young Avengers debuted in Hawkeyewhere Kate Bishop entered the MCU and left a lasting impression as Clint Barton’s protege. Ms. Marvel was released seven months later, starring the immensely likable Kamala Khan in her Ms. origin story. Most of the other potential Young Avengers have appeared in the MCU’s Disney+ shows, though Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie Lang has left her mark in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania helping in the fight against Kang the Conqueror.
Although several protégés have debuted intermittently throughout the Multiverse Saga as potential young parallels to established Avengers, These are the only three that have been confirmed as Young Avengers. That’s when Kamala Khan visited Kate Bishop at the end of The wonders in an attempt to recruit her into the team she was creating. She also references Ant-Man’s daughter, practically confirming that she is on the list of potential recruits. Meanwhile, Cassie Lang was recently seen hanging out with two other potential candidates.
Marvel has apparently confirmed 2 more members for the MCU’s Young Avengers
Disney’s latest dining experience in the world of Marvel hints at two more young Avengers candidates
Two more candidates have apparently been confirmed as part of Disney’s Marvel Worlds dining experience aboard its sixth cruise ship, Disney Treasure. Marvel Worlds premiered in Disney Treasuresister ship, Disney wishwith the interactive dining experience, Avengers: Quantum Encounter. This saw the Avengers Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain Marvel, Captain America and Ms. Marvel fighting Ultron with the help of the customers. Disney Treasure with an adventure starring the MCU “Younger heroes.”
A media preview of the second Marvel Worlds ahead of Disney TreasureThe December 21st trip was shared on social media (via The direct). It depicts a post-credits scene with Cassie Lang, America Chavez and Riri Williams idle at a dinner table after”Last adventure.” The video visibly evokes the post-credits scene of The Avengerswhere the newly formed team eats shawarma together in silence. These hints suggest that the young heroes in the scene will be part of the Young Avengers.
Other MCU heroes who could join the Young Avengers
Several young Avengers from Marvel Comics have already made their debut in the MCU
The fact that the MCU made Ms. Marvel the founder of the Young Avengers shows that the franchise will go off script in the Young Avengers adaptation of the comics. Ironheart is also not part of Marvel Comics’ Young Avengers, although his inclusion would make sense as a replacement for Iron Lad – a young Kang – as Marvel continues to pivot entirely from Kang the Conqueror. With that in mind, there are a number of other potential candidates already introduced to the MCU.

There are only a handful of Young Avengers who haven’t made it to the MCU yetincluding David Alleyne/Prodigy, Noh-Varr/Marvel Boy and Teddy Altman/Hulkling. While some theories suggest that Skaar will take Hulkling’s place on the team, Agatha all the time debuted Billy Maximoff’s boyfriend, Eddie – a name suspiciously close to Teddy. Billy and Teddy are in a relationship in Marvel Comics, which makes Eddie’s debut somewhat revealing – especially since Teddy is a Skrull with shape-shifting abilities.
With that in mind, the MCU could be gearing up for the team to finally reunite after Avengers: Secret Wars, although it’s equally possible that this could occur in the MCU’s version of Battleworld.
Billy and Tommy Maximoff are practically dead certainties for the team following Ágatha all the time, given the former’s founding ties to the comic book team. Eli Bradley may reappear in Captain America: Brave New Worldwhile Kid Loki was last seen in the Void – which is speculated to replace Battleworld in Avengers: Secret Wars. With that in mind, the MCU could be gearing up for the team to finally get together later Avengers: Secret Warsalthough it is equally possible that this occurs in the UCMversion of Battleworld.
