Dressing the Titans in their iconic costumes is not as simple as it first appears. In a sudden and unexpected twist, The team goes from wearing their contemporary suits to their classic Teen Titans costumes in the blink of an eye. Only later in the issue is it revealed What Dana saw was the work of the Clock King, who had infiltrated the Titans’ minds and was turning back the clock on their memories. The issue cuts off at this point, but it offers a solid explanation for why Donna saw the Titans in their old costumes. While the outcome of the battle remains to be seen, fans will undoubtedly appreciate the nostalgic flashback.
