Deadpool’s extreme redesign and metamorphosis gave him the most creative version of his healing factor yet

There is no doubt that Dead PoolThe healing factor is unique in the Marvel Canon, even compared to Wolverine, whose healing powers have rivaled his for years. Quite simply, the almost instantaneous and sometimes disgusting ways in which his body is able to rebuild itself have made him one of the deadliest antiheroes in the Marvel universe. However, a story set in an alternate timeline showed Deadpool at his most extreme, with a wild redesign that evolved his powers into a complete shapeshift.

In Punisher: Space by Frank Tieri and Mark Texeira, Frank Castle comes face to face with a band of villains hired by the 6-Fingered Hand to kill him. Among this group are Sabretooth with a fierce and savage-looking design, as well as The Leader with a sci-fi update on his big-brained appearance. But the most interesting of the group is Deadpool. whose silver suit gives him the ability to shape his body to create weapons and even grow additional limbs.

Taking a look at Deadpool’s redesign in Punisher: SpaceIt’s easy to see why he was chosen by the 6-Fingered Hand to hunt down the Punisher. He already has extensive experience as an assassin, hunting bounties and being practically impossible to kill. This new suit upgrades your power to unlock new potential in your nearly unbeatable healing factor. After all, he is now capable of turning Deadpool himself into a weapon, making his abilities go beyond restoring his human body. The only problem is that it has one major weakness: it still falls apart easily.

In the midst of his fight with the Punisher, a genetically mutated variant of the Hulk’s helpers in the fight, much to Deadpool’s surprise. He threatens the green giant with a third arm which he manifests from his chest, only for his head to be ripped off and thrown into the vacuum of space. It has been shown in the past that Deadpool is easy to destroy by stronger heroes and villains. The fact that this flaw remains shows that he is not invulnerable, adding a major caveat to his redesign.

Deadpool’s extreme redesign turns him into a deadlier version of Terminator 2of the T-1000

Deadpool would be a more ruthless Terminator than the T-1000

By far the coolest thing about Deadpool’s redesign is how much it might remind fans of James Cameron’s infamous film villain. S2: Judgment Day. Both Deadpool and the T-1000 are capable of molding their bodies into weapons and making them nearly indestructible. However, Where Deadpool differs from the violent android is his ability to fashion firearms from his body. This is something the T-1000 was unable to do, as it could only make blades and cutting weapons. Ultimately, this puts Deadpool above the Terminator villain, as he is able to distance himself from his targets, rather than relying on his surroundings to benefit his ranged combat potential.

General, Punisher: SpaceDeadpool’s take on his healing factor is by far one of the most creative uses of his power. This not only expands what your healing factor can do, but also gives you the potential you need to turn the tide of battle. Of course, it is not without flaws, as Dead Pool still has the same weakness as always, but this is still undeniably one of his more extreme reworks that has transformed his healing factor for the better.
