Deadpool kills the Marvel universe, Deadpool's darkest story returns for a final story in the trilogy
Deadpool kills the Marvel universe by Cullen Bunn and Dalibor Talajić Premiered in 2012
The original idea behind Deadpool kills the Marvel universe it was quite simple. Instead of Deadpool being the crazy, lovable character he usually is, the story looked at what could happen if he went truly crazy. Although Deadpool is famous for breaking the fourth wall in this comic his knowledge of being in a comic book is what drives him to kill everyone around him. Wanting to free his friends from the whims of Marvel and its creators, Deadpool begins killing everyone he encounters. It's a brutal story, but the conclusion of the trilogy goes in a different direction.
At the end of the second series, Deadpool kills Deadpool, an evil version of Deadpool, Dreadpool, is killed – which means that this new Deadpool spreading across the Marvel universe is unlikely to be Dreadpool. Another interesting fact is that the cover of the Deadpool kills the Marvel universe again #1 by Davide Paratore shows evil versions of iconic heroes. Viewers can see Frankencastle, a Daredevil who was possessed by the Beast, and the Superior Spider-Man. It appears that instead of attacking Marvel's greatest heroes, Deadpool will face darker versions of Marvel's iconic heroes.
Deadpool is facing off against Marvel's darkest heroes
Will any Marvel heroes survive this new miniseries?
Dreadpool was the darkest version of Deadpool fans have seen so far. It only makes sense that this final installment of the trilogy would feature a version of Deadpool who goes after Marvel's darkest heroes. Fans have already seen Deadpool take advantage of the best that Marvel has to offer, so going in exactly the opposite direction is possibly the best idea Bunn and Talajić could have had. Although it is not clear which version of Dead Pool This will be – or why he will be in this violence – one thing is certain: it will be an incredibly bloody and violent moment.
Deadpool kills the Marvel universe once again #1 is available April 2, 2025 from Marvel Comics!
