Dead Character Returning From Dexter Prequel Finally Brings Back Big Lost Story After Season 7

Dexter: Original Sin Episode 4, "Fender Bender" highlights the beginning of one of the original series' major relationships between Angel Batista and Maria LaGuerta. After a split Dexter: Original Sin premiere and a double-episode vintage release with episodes 2 and 3, the fourth of ten Dexter: Original episodes continues to make impressive and entertaining strides for the series. Batista and LaGuerta's incredible chemistry finally returns in Dexter: Original Sin

They got married in the original series, but divorced in season 6

The chemistry between LaGuerta and Batista in Dexter the original series was one of the best parts of the middle seasons. While their chemistry and scenes together were a big part of the original show, it obviously had to stop when they got divorced in Season 6, before LaGuerta died in the Season 7 finale. Seeing Batista and LaGuerta in the early stages of their eventual relationship is another great aspect of Dexter I know that Original sin brings to life.

Although both Batista and LaGuerta played a reduced role in the Dexter: Original Sin than in the original series, its inclusion is still a key part of the prequel. There is also speculation that Laguerta will begin to develop feelings for Dexter based on how notably flirted with him during the first season. Although this almost certainly won't happen in Original sin Since Dexter is basically Miami Metro PD's new intern, sparks may continue to fly between Batista and LaGuerta in later episodes of Original sin.

Knowing that although they eventually marry, Batista and Laguerta divorce adds a tragic element to their origin story as it unfolds in Original sin. Most tragic of all is LaGuerta's fate, being killed by Deb to save Dexter after everything they've been through. If anythingDexter: Original Sin reaffirms that LaGuerta was never a true villain and was one of the greatest examples of Dexter breaking Harry's code (even though he didn't kill her and his main focus was not getting caught). Furthermore, LaGuerta is one of the best characters in Dexter: Original Sin and it is perfectly shaped.
