On Xartist Felipe Illa share your opinion about Creature Commands' the Bride, incorporating voice actress Indira Varma's image into the Bride's live-action appearance. The Bride's live-action hairstyle appears a little shorter and her coat appears a little darker. Otherwise, Indira Varma's Bride looks almost identical to her animated counterpart from Creature Commands. Check out the image below:
What The Bride's Live-Action Fan Art Means for Creature Commandos
Creature Commandos will likely appear in future live-action DCU projects
Felipe Illa's fan art Creature Commands'The Bride isn't just a fun take on the animated series' reanimated antihero; also serves as a first glimpse of what Creature Commands' animated protagonists it might look like in the upcoming DCU live-action films and shows. The animated projects in James Gunn's DCU take place in the same continuity as live-action projects like Superman and Flashlights. That's why, Indira Varma could play the Bride in live-action soon, sporting the exact same look she wears WNature commands.
Creature Commands has already introduced several animated characters who will appear in upcoming live-action films and shows. Viola Davis' Amanda Waller to Star in Her Own Live-Action Series in Wallerand Frank Grillo's Rick Flag Sr. is set to appear in Superman, Wallerand Peacemaker 2nd season. Creature Commands Episode 4 also features an apocalyptic vision involving David Corenswet's Superman, Isabela Merced's Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, Starfire, and Damian Wayne – all in animated form.
Our Take on The Bride's Live-Action Fan Art
Creature Commandos will probably look exactly the same in live action
The Bride isn't the only member of the Creature Commandos likely to return in live action. Although GI Robot seemed to die in Creature Commands episode 3, Nazi-hinted automaton could return in DCU's WWII-era film Sergeant Stone or a metallic men project. Dr. Phosphorus may also appear in The brave and the bold as a member of Batman's rogue gallery, and Circe will likely appear in both Paradise Lost and Wonder Woman's debut project in the DCU. In the same way as James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy in the MCU, Creature Commandos could become mainstays of the DCU for years to come.
