Matthew Rosenberg and Otto Schmidt’s Other worlds series, DC vs. Vampires: World War VThe mysterious baby and their unnamed vampire caretaker were first teased in the inaugural issue of the series. Since then, the creators have dropped a trail of clues, gradually bringing fans closer to unraveling the mystery of the two characters.
Issue #2 revealed that The mysterious vampire was none other than Mister Miracle himself, with the now vampiric New God claiming the baby as his daughter. However, this is the last issue, DC vs. Vampires: World War V # 3, which really began to fully unravel the mystery, revealing the full parentage of the child and hinting at her possible purpose in the story.

Mister Miracle and Big Barda have a vampire-new god hybrid daughter
DC vs. Vampires: World War V #3 opens with a flashback set 10 months before the present. In this flashback, fans witness the vampiric Mister Miracle in bed with his long-time paramour, Big Barda. The two characters share a long history in DC’s mainstream continuity, having fallen in love on Apokolips despite their very different personalities. Therefore, Elseworld’s tale remains true to its canonical relationship. As the flashback continues, Mr. Miracle expresses concern about being intimate with Big Barda, as he has already been turned into a vampire..
Thanks to his New God status, the vampire transformation did not completely change Mister Miracle’s personality, sparing him from becoming a crazy and evil bloodsucker like many of DC’s other heroes. Nevertheless, he still feared losing control in the heat of the moment. However, Barda assures him that she is not worried. Their coupling then takes place, and during the climax, Art reveals that Barda is also a vampire – her fangs emerge, and her eyes turn red. This scene not only confirms the full parentage of Mr. Miracle’s daughter, but also implies that the baby is a new god-vampire hybrid.

The New God Baby is part of a bigger prophecy
Throughout the series, Rosenberg made it clear that the various factions of the war like to get their hands on Mr. Miracle’s daughter. However, it isn’t until issue #3 that fans truly begin to understand why there is such a deep interest in the kid. Of course, there is the obvious reason: the child is one of a kind, She was born a vampire rather than the other way around, and she is also a New God, implying that she is exceptionally powerful. However, there also seems to be a widespread prophecy about the child that has made her of particular interest to the vampire side of the war.
In a conversation between John Constantine and Black Canary, it is revealed that the vampires believe that the child represents the next evolution of their species. Therefore, to understand how it was, will allow them to replicate the results. TA prophecy is also spread here that the child is the key to bringing peace between humans and vampires. However, there is a counter prophecy suggesting the child is a sign that signals the end of the world. All of this, of course, doesn’t even take into account the immense power the child could wield due to her vampiric New God status.

Issue #3 makes it increasingly clear that the three-sided war is shifting as word of the child’s existence spreads. Both humans and vampires are interested in her, with the loyalists of the late vampire queen actively trying to capture Mr. Miracle and his daughter. Under the orders of the vampiric Aquaman, Ghost-Maker is hunting them down, suggesting the King of Atlantis has nefarious plans for the child. Meanwhile, humans only learn of the child and remain uncertain of her existence, although their interest is piqued. It will be intriguing to see which side gets their hands on it Mr. Miracle First daughter, as it is only a matter of time before someone does.
