DC Justice League characters imagined in Disney’s 2D Animation Style art is stunningly perfect

New fan art of the DC Universe introduced the members of the Justice League In the style of classic Disney animation. While comic books have reimagined these iconic heroes many times in several different styles, This polished 2D style is a unique and familiar style in which it is exciting to see the iconic heroes. DC Animation’s upcoming releases are an excellent use of the brand. Still, new art suggests that other styles could be an excellent way for the studio to reinvigorate its animation brand in the future.

With a colorful and playful style, the creator, who describes himself as an “AI enthusiast”, followed in the path of similar MCU Avengers art, which saw the iconic heroes in the same Disney style. Even though Disney doesn’t own DC, seeing the Justice League characters in this style is mesmerizing.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the entire team have been envisioned here with an excellent, faithful animation style that looks like it was pulled straight from films like The Princess and the Frog And Beauty and the Beast. With playful smiles and creative proportions, these characters would fit into any Disney classic film perfectly with this design. These iterations are fun and may be worth inspiring the future of DC animation.

It is It is unlikely that a Justice League animated movie in this style will ever be produced, largely because Disney does not own DC. With that said, animated Justice League content has been a part of DC’s universe for some time. The studio has produced a number of animated films in various universes, most recently culminating in the end of the Tomorrowverse. This recent project, which tells the story of Justice League: Crisis on Infinity Earthswas a huge undertaking that saw various DC animated properties from different origins and styles come together.

DC was willing to play with the animation style of its properties. Teen Titans Go! is visually and stylistically different from the rest of the DC Universe. Other projects of different styles have included the theatrical films The LEGO Batman Movie, Batman: Mask of the PhantasmAnd DC League of Super Pets. Clearly, the studio is willing to change the style of its offerings to fit each specific release. Having said that, DC animation in a style like this is certainly something possible in the future.

DC is in the process of a rebranding, however, with James Gunn and Peter Safran overhauling the studio’s efforts into one consistent line. Animation and live action are slated to cross over in the coming years, which could make projects like this less possible soon. Still, it’s a thrill to see the iconic heroes of the DC Universe Imagined in such a familiar and interesting style. If a film in this style were made, surely many would rush to see it.
