THE Honkai: Star Trail The 3.0 livestream is scheduled to take place once version 2.7 of the turn-based RPG moves into its second half and begins gearing up for the release of Amphoraus and all its related content, including new characters, main story quests and activities. Version 3.0 is the next major patch for HoYoverse's title and is set to begin its third year of content by taking the crew of the Astral Express to the mysterious new destination called Ampforeus.. So far, HoYoverse has shown a few teasers for Amphoraus in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0, as a video highlighting some locations.
The new characters that players will encounter on their journeys have also been revealed, although not described in depth to avoid spoilers before the location's release. As an annual update, version 3.0 is expected to be huge for a number of reasons: the update should bring new map locations that make up Ampforeus and even new game mechanics that should be exclusive to the overworld in The Eternal Land. Players can expect various treasures in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0, and much of the information about Amphoraus and its content will be presented during the next live broadcast.
Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 live stream – date and time
The special event is expected to take place in early January 2025
Even before HoYoverse's official announcement, the version 3.0 live broadcast date and time can be predicted thanks to the game's fixed schedule for each update. With version 2.7 being this year's final content update, version 3.0 is expected to arrive on January 15th. Since live broadcasts tend to occur two weeks earlier on Friday mornings, the version 3.0 live stream will likely take place on January 3rd, sometime in the morning. The developer must confirm the exact date and time for the Honkai: Star Trail 3.0 live a few days before the event takes place.
There have been rumors that version 2.7 would be the longest patch on the turn-based RPG yet, and if that's true, it would inevitably delay the release of version 3.0 and possibly the live stream by a few weeks.. This remains to be seen as Version 2.7 progresses into its second half, but if it lasts the normal six weeks, then the Version 3.0 live stream should actually take place on January 3rd. What to expect from Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Livestream – New characters and leaked banners
Three new characters have already been confirmed
HoYoverse has already announced the new playable characters for version 3.0. The first of these will be available to all players who advance in the story within Amphoraus. The Remembrance Trailblazer is a new form for the main character and should be unlocked as players discover Remembrance as a new playable path. Based on the leaked Remembrance Trailblazer kit in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0, it appears that the protagonist will be able to summon a memosprite called Mem and that it will function both as a secondary damage dealer and as support for allies.
The other new character confirmed by HoYoverse is The Herta, the 5-star version of the Genius Society member. Like your 4-star shape, Herta will be an Ice Scholar character, which means her specialty is dealing damage to multiple opponents at the same time.. Unlike her 4-star version's sub-DPS attacks, she is expected to be the main DPS in team compositions, according to The Herta's leaked kit in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0. Leaks say she can also be versatile, focusing the power of her multi-target damage on a single enemy, which could help her deal with bosses.
The third new character confirmed for the patch is Aglaea, who will be the first playable character in Amphoraus. Aglaea is a 5-star Lightning character in the Path of Remembrance, making her the second playable unit in this new Path. As a Remembrance character, Aglaea is expected to be able to summon a memosprite, a detail that was confirmed by Aglaea's leaked kit in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0. This kit shows that Aglaea will be a core DPS unit that thrives on raw attack power and SPD buffs that make her and her memosprite even stronger.
The game kits for each of these characters will likely be described in detail during the version 3.0 livestream, as details about them have so far emerged from leaks. HoYoverse will formally introduce them and highlight how they are used in battle and how they can potentially serve team compositionsespecially with the arrival of the new Remembrance Path, which could drastically affect the meta.
While new characters tend to be in the spotlight, repeat units are often just as important as debuts. HoYoverse will likely feature repeat characters during the version 3.0 live stream, but there have been leaks indicating who will appear during which banner phase. According to information from Seele Leaks, shared on Reddit, Herta will debut on Phase 1 banners accompanied by reruns of Jade, Feixiao and Lingsha, while Phase 2 banners will feature the release of Aglaea and reruns of Robin, Boothill and Silver Wolf.
This specific information should be taken with caution as there has been a leak about a possible banner update in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0, indicating that New releases would always appear together on Phase 1 banners, lasting until the end of the patch, while reruns would only start appearing on Phase 2 banners. Update rumors were that this change would take effect in version 3.0, so they currently conflict with the banner leak mentioned above. The final format of the character banners will be confirmed during the version 3.0 live broadcast.
What to expect from Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 – Amphora live stream, story missions, events and more
There's a lot of content to review with the new destination
The new destination, Amphoraus, is also expected to be highlighted throughout much of the Version 3.0 live stream. The location, heavily inspired by Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and their respective mythologies, will possibly be described in detail by the developers, addressing design options and new game mechanics. – this was the case when HoYoverse featured Penacony during the version 2.0 live stream, so it will likely be repeated at the next event. The characters of Amphoreus in Honkai: Star Trail 3.0, even though they are still NPCs, they can also be shown with more information.
This should help flesh out the story that will be told in Amphoraus, although the developer probably won't delve too deeply into certain events so as not to ruin the narrative experience. The limited-time events in the patch and any rewards players will be able to obtain during the update will also likely be outlined in the version 3.0 live stream, as will the rumored free giveaways. Honkai: Star Trail 3.0 that accumulates with the recurring present of the Odyssey.
With a large load of content expected for version 3.0, the respective live broadcast is expected to take a long time. There are many new things to show players, from new characters to new gameplay mechanics and a completely new destination with a unique story arc. The next HoYoverse Honkai: Star Trail Live streaming 3.0 is the perfect stage to showcase all of this at once.
