Although the Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and the Seventh and Ninth Sisters have been given another chance to succeed where they previously failed, the stakes are now much higher. Tensu Run was one of Vader’s most wanted Jedi survivors
He was able to inspire great hope and resistance
Having fearlessly gathered a group of Jedi survivors together during the Dark Times, It was not lost on Darth Vader how dangerous Tensu Run could become against the Empire. Likewise, the secondary concern is that Tensu Run has taken it upon himself to go after the Inquisitors in this new series. As seen in previous issues, Ran decided to hunt down the Hunters, resulting in each of the Inquisitor’s subsequent defeats (even when two were sent to defeat him). To that end, the teasers of the cover art with four Inquisitors and Vader simultaneously facing Tensu down are very exciting.
The Inquisitors had no more chances with Vader
Tensu Run will die… or they will
Because each of the featured Inquisitors have known futures and fates elsewhere in the Star Wars Canon that don’t include executions of Vader, things certainly don’t look good for Tensu Run in this upcoming issue. After all, Darth Vader is not one to make empty threats. Instead, the odds are quite high that Tensu Run will meet its demise sooner rather than later. Either that, or he’ll be captured and potentially corrupted to the dark side, becoming one of Darth Vader’s Inquisitors himself at the end of this new Star Wars Series.
