As seen in Marvel’s canonical Star Wars: Inquisitors #4 By Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas, Darth Vader has grown weary of his inquisitors’ recurring failures to capture or kill Tensu Ren, a Jedi Knight seeking to rebuild the Jedi Order who is also willing to face his hunters head on. As such, this new and final issue of Inquisitors When Vader assembled the Grand Inquisitor, Fifth Brother, and the Seventh and Ninth Sisters to face Tensu Ran together. However, Darth Vader himself also arrives on the scene to ensure that his will is finally carried out:

However, the Grand Inquisitor’s killing of Tensu’s master led to Ran’s decision to face the Inquisitor directly. While Tensu defeated everyone he faced, this ensured his showdown with Darth Vader himself and all the Inquisitors at once, sealing his fate when he could have done so much more. For his people that this issue implies will now scatter and wither without their leader to inspire them.
