Warning: Contains spoilers for Venom War: Daredevil #1! Poison is on the verge of becoming a major problem for the entire Marvel Universe, just like its predecessor, The King in Black, and Daredevil Has the perfect weapon to fight Venom's terrifying horde of symbiotes. As the world becomes venomized in the upcoming poison war Crossover event, regular people are not only possessed by Venom's offspring, but are quite literally beautiful zombies - or zambiotes. However, as scary as they will prove to be, it is the zambiotes that should be feared by Daredevil.
In a preview shared by AIPT Comics for Venom War: Daredevil #1 by Christopher Condon and Lan Medina, readers are given an art-only first look at Daredevil's contribution to the planet-wide conflict—both Daredevils, actually. Right now in Marvel Comics canon, Elektra is the main Daredevil of the continuity, while Matt Murdock has taken a back seat to find himself after his death and subsequent resurrection. However, Matt doesn't have the luxury of trying to live the simple life when zambiotes attack, and Elektra's Daredevil is right there with him.
In the preview, Matt (currently out of costume) is trying to save the lives of a group of people who are being attacked by zambiotes. Then, Elektra's Daredevil jumps from a building above and lands right on top of one of the creatures, smashing his face into the ground. When she's surrounded, Daredevil uses her signature twin Sai in a whole new way. Elektra electrified the Sai, and with a single blow, she rids a human host of its symbiote in an instant.

As shown in the preview, Daredevil can take down a symbiote with a single attack, and she can do so while ensuring that the innocent person the symbiote is inhabiting remains intact. The preview also shows how Elektra's reach can extend far beyond taking down one zombie at a time with this weapon, as she electrified a puddle of water the zombie was standing in to defeat it, meaning she could presumably do the same Too many enemies at once given the right conductive circumstances.
Not only that, but Elektra can finally be her true self while also honoring the legacy of her current Daredevil moniker. Since becoming Daredevil, Elektra has to hold back immensely while fighting enemies - meaning, she doesn't kill. She even got new twin sai with dull blades to lessen her lethality. But now, Elektra can go all-out on the zambiotes like she used to on anyone who dared to challenge her before she became Daredevil. Indeed, most of the zambiotes are undead corpses popped by symbiotes, and Elektra is free to use her signature weapon as intended once again.
Elektra's anti-venom weapon could save Matt Murdock (if he dodges a familiar fate)
Daredevil Vol. 6 #26-27
Daredevil's new anti-veno weapon will undoubtedly help save the lives of countless people, both those possessed by symbiotes and those attacked by symbiotes, but the electrified Sai may also save someone much closer to you: Matt Murdock. Matt was taken over by a symbiote when Knull attacked the world during the King in Black crossover event, and he's just as vulnerable during the upcoming symbiote outbreak. So, if Matt baffles that familiar fate, Elektra (and her electrified Sai) may be the only one who can save him.
No matter how Daredevil may use this weapon in the future, the preview for Venom War: Daredevil #1 already proves that she has the perfect anti-venom weapon when she took down a symbiote and saved his boss with one shot. Plus, this weapon is permanent because it's an upgrade made to you, which is always by your side. This means she always has an anti-venom contingency for any future scenarios where the symbiote steps out of line, making Daredevil's new weapon even more badass.
