Jason is possessed by the Marvel Wrath

After returning from Hell, Daredevil was given a second chance at life and became a priest and ran a shelter for underprivileged children, only to discover that one of the children in his care was the son of a HAMMER agent who was killed by Bullseye. However, thanks to the press, Daredevil was blamed, causing Jason to hate Daredevil. To make matters worse, Jason discovered 'Father Matt's' secret identity, causing him to flee. Unfortunately Jason didn't know that Matt was followed by the Seven Deadly Sins who were attaching themselves to the people in Daredevil's life to make him suffer.

Ever since Matt discovered the truth about Jason's past, he has felt incredible guilt and has been searching high and low for the boy. But now Daredevil's responsibility is to host the deadliest sin Matt has encountered. Matt fought Wrath twice and both times Daredevil barely escaped his life. Maybe Daredevil could do some damage if he truly unleashed his rage, but with Jason at the center of Wrath, there's no way in hell Matt won't hold back. But holding back against Wrath will almost certainly get Matt killed.

Divine Intervention or Something More?

Daredevil can't keep up with Wrath Marvel

With Daredevil abandoning God, he is alone against this monster that possessed the boy and Matt feels like he has failed. But Daredevil knows he can't defeat Wrath alone, especially if Jason's life is at risk. Matt's only chance of succeeding here is to get right with his god, or at least get his priest friend Father Javi to do it for him. Exorcism is the only thing that has overcome the Seven Deadly Sins and unless Reckless discovers a way to do this, his and Jason's lives are in grave danger.Daredevil #16 is now available from Marvel Comics.
