Reckless has fought nearly every evil force on the planet and just made the startling confession that he believes the Gaping Maw is more deadly than the Hand. It's hard to keep track of how many evil secret societies there are in the Marvel Universe: AIM, Hydra, the Hand, and now the Gaping Maw. Daredevil's statement is incredible, especially for someone as familiar with the Hand as Matt Murdock.
In Spider-Boy #14 by Dan Slott and Paco Medina, Bullseye and his new companion Spider-Girl enter the biggest martial arts tournament in the world. To stop them from winning, Daredevil and Spider-Boy pursue them, entering the same tournament run by the Gaping Maw, causing Daredevil to admit that of all the secret societies he has fought, The Gaping Maw is perhaps the deadliest organization on the planet.
This statement is remarkable, especially considering how many dangerous organizations there are on the planet - and how many Daredevil himself has faced.

The Gaping Maw would have to be dangerous if it was capable of holding a martial arts tournament that would attract Bullseye's attention. It's still difficult to imagine that any group could be more dangerous than the Hand. Daredevil has spent decades fighting them and is best suited to judge whether the Gaping Maw is more dangerous than them.
There is no one better suited to judge the “deadliest secret society” than Daredevil.
Several thousand years old and worshipers of an ancient demon, the Hand is one of the most dangerous cults that has ever existed in the Marvel Universe. They have been fighting to take control of the world and bring about their demon god for hundreds of years. Although Daredevil has been their main enemy, they are a worldwide threat. They even captured and brainwashed Wolverine, turning him into a deadly villain who nearly brought down the United States.

The Gaping Maw is an even bigger threat than the hand
The fact that Daredevil says that Gaping Maw is more dangerous than the Hand is almost ridiculous considering what the Hand has accomplished. But there is no one better suited to judge the “deadliest secret society” than Daredevil. Not only has Daredevil has been fighting the Hand for decadesbut at one point he was even the leader of the organization. In an attempt to prevent the Kingpin from taking control of the Hand and becoming the most dangerous man on the planet, Daredevil took his place, resulting in Daredevil becoming possessed by the Beast and nearly ending the world.
It's currently unclear exactly what makes the Gaping Maw so deadly. Daredevil simply states that they are probably the deadliest fighting force on the planet, meaning they would have to be incredibly dangerous to be a greater threat than the Hand. The Hand has used tactics such as reviving people from the dead and brainwashing heroes and villains to serve them. Hand ninjas do not care about their own well-being and will happily sacrifice themselves to achieve the cult's goals. While it's hard to imagine the Gaping Maw being more deadly than this, Reckless certainly knows something that fans currently don't.
