Dan Da Dan episode 4 gave Momo and Okarun’s powers a chance to shine brighter thanks to a memorable sequence that surpassed its manga counterpart.
With Kurama’s resentment of Naruto being a deeper anger towards humanity’s treatment of him and his fellow tailed beasts, Turbo Granny finds an equally sympathetic parallel in his backstory. In Dan-Dan In episode 4, the tunnel in which she resides was confirmed to be the location where girls were taken, raped, and dismembered, with her appearing in similar locations where girls met a cruel fate. Turbo Granny’s situation is less cruel than Kurama’s, but certainly much more unusual.as she is trapped in a cat figurine in the near future in Dan Da Dan.
Turbo Granny’s terms of cooperation with Okarun are certainly more basic than the way Naruto gradually reconciles and befriends Kurama, but undeniably more fun. The accidental misplacement of Okarun’s appendages, hereafter referred to as Kintama, drives the foundation for their alliance, and Momo quickly recognizes the yokai’s reasoning for his cruelty and vengeful behavior.. Momo understands that Turbo Granny sympathizes with the tunnel girls, whom she theorizes to have comforted, and charts common ground to forge an agreement with the prickly yokai.
Okarun harnesses Turbo Granny’s power more efficiently than Naruto does with Kurama
Every battle becomes more exciting with Turbo Granny
Different naruto Lower teases about Kurama’s latent power, such as Naruto’s vast chakra reserves in chapter #1 and the first glimpses of his indwelling spirit in chapter #28, Okarun can use his powers in Dan-Daninitially with Momo’s help. In episode 5, Okarun can use his fight or flight mechanism to trigger his transformed state without Turbo Granny’s consciousness within him.only channeling his powers at this point. Despite the compelling parallels, this creates a dynamic experience for readers who don’t want to see a 1:1 comparison between Dan-Dan and naruto.
One of the most noteworthy comparisons is how to harness your power in naruto and Dan Da Dan case creates vastly strengthened transformations. This ultimately grants Naruto orange and black motifs, while Okarun gets a stunning array of black, white, red, and gray. Each receives an immense boost in power and speed, but Okarun’s abilities are still more grounded than Naruto’s.
While it is arguably not seeing the forest for the trees when comparing Okarun’s possession to Naruto’s, their situation and overall story differ drastically beyond the parallel details. Naruto’s quest, especially as his bond with Kurama grows, presents loftier ambitions of becoming Hokage and ending cycles of hatred. Okarun’s quest, in contrast, is to symbolically and physically become whole again. In Dan-Danwhile there are easy parallels to other ‘Sealed Evil in a Can’ tropes in the anime, Turbo Granny increasingly grows into a compelling supporting character.
