Southern Charm star Craig Conover and summer house Paige DeSorbo announced that they had split after more than three years together, and their relationship came to an end for some shocking reasons. Craig, who was part Southern Charm since its inaugural season, has maintained public relations prior to his time with Paige, having dated on his show for most of his on-screen time. While the couple, who have appeared together in both Southern Charm and summer house, have been a Bravo staple throughout their time together, Paige and Craig's split wasn't entirely shocking to Bravo's attentive audience.
After announcing the split on his podcast, Giggly SquadPaige shared that her relationship with Craig had come to an end for several reasons. “No one did anything,” Paige explained for those looking for drama. “It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we were both just being mature and saying what we wanted and what we didn’t want.” While Paige hasn't spoken openly about what exactly ended their relationship, she has made it clear that she and Craig didn't have a huge fight, nor did their relationship suffer after an incident. Instead of, she shared that they were honest about moving on.
What Craig and Paige's split means
The pair will advance separately
Although Craig and Pagie were Bravo viewers' favorites when it came to their relationship between shows, the couple's split wasn't entirely surprising to those who have watched them for years. Although the couple has always been open with each other, Craig and Pagie's relationship wasn't always the healthiest with compromises or changes. Craig, who lives in South Carolina, isn't necessarily open to moving to New York, where Paige lives. While she's working on changes in her career, including a major podcast tour with her co-host Hannah Berner, Paige is looking for more space.
Paige's job made it difficult for her to stay in one place while Craig seemed determined not to move from South Carolina after purchasing property and continuing to run her business, Sewing Down South. While the couple has navigated their relationship in the past, it seems their lives have simply gone in two different directions, with things changing for both of them in recent months. As Summer house and Southern Charm season 10 will continue in 2025, sharing their separation was the best move for both of them to avoid being questioned about their relationship by the press.
Our Take on Craig and Paige's Split
The couple had some insoluble problems
While Paige and Craig's split isn't necessarily a surprise, the duo's relationship ending is still heartbreaking for Bravo fans who were rooting for its success. Although Paige shared that the end of their relationship was not something either of them took lightly, Craig has yet to comment on the split. Resolving their issues hasn't brought Craig and Paige to a place that makes them happy, but the split means things will change considerably for both of them. Southern Charm and summer house in future seasons, which will impact viewers as they progress.
