Steve Asbell, president of 20th Century Studios, revealed extensive plans for the company’s future when it comes to upcoming sequels. Amid news of more Foreigner, Predator, avatarand Agatha Christie films, Asbell had little to say about Matthew Vaughn’s films Kingsman franchise. In fact, Asbell kept his response short and sweet by saying “No plans to make them anytime soon.”

This is a bit shocking considering Vaughn’s recent updates regarding both The King’s Man 2 and Kingsman: Blue Bloodbut it shouldn’t be too surprising keeping in mind the director’s recent box office woes. The king’s man was a flop that only grossed $125 million (via Mojo Box Office) and Vaughn Argyle it was an absolute disaster. The king’s man concludes with Oxford and his allies meeting at the Kingsman tailoring business, where they discuss the need for an independent agency to combat potential threats to the United Kingdom. It is here that the Kingsman agency is officially formed, with each member taking on a codename derived from the Knights of the Round Table.
