Hoping to find the perfect actor to step into the pink shoes of Al Woods, Reese Witherspoon took to her official Instagram account to announce that An open casting call was sent out to fill the role. Even like Legally Blonde 3 Hell is still in development, a Legally blonde Officially announced TV show that will seemingly fill the void. With years of conflicting reports about Elle Woods’ return to the big screen, news of a show comes as something of a surprise, but is nonetheless exciting for fans of the two-decade-old franchise. The prequel series, El eWill be set before the events of 2001s Legally blonde.

Casting has already begun with a worldwide open call for auditions for the lead role. Production is planned to run between April and July 2025. As such, no official release window has been revealed, but it is expected that the series will arrive sometime in the latter half of 2025.
