Evil Part One and Part TwoThe combined budget has been revealed, setting a new record for Universal for initial investments in its films. The story of Evil is being divided into two films, with Part One now showing in cinemas, while Part Two will arrive on November 21, 2025. The budget for the first installment was reported to be between $145 million and $150 million, indicative of a similar budget being spent on the sequel. However, the exact cost of the two films combined has not been officially disclosed.

Now, according to Matt Belloni DiskUniversal spent $350 million on both Evil films, the most the studio has ever invested upfront in any film project under its umbrella. This shows an incredible amount of faith in the film, something the reporter points out given the massive advertising campaign leading up to its release. He’s also confident in its ability to succeed at the box office, meaning Universal’s investment will have paid off. Check out what Belloni said below:

Remember when the Evil movie was released six weeks ago? I’m joking, but however the film gets to theaters – I put it The citybox office draft, so I’m rooting for him – the months long the marketing attack will be considered a campaign forever.
