season 6 managed to resolve a previous complaint of the series in a brutal way. Cobra Kai Season 6 was a whirlwind with the Miyagi-Do team preparing for Sekai Taikai, but part 2 took things to another level. Although the show originally began airing in 2018 and highlighted the characters of Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence from the original Karate Kid films, evolved to become an entirely different story.
As the show recovered in previous seasons, there were shocking moments that provided major twists, but there was also some degree of inconsistency. Johnny and Daniel fought constantly as teenagers, while the students they trained got into rivalries. But the show also had plenty of comedic moments, and when it came to having darker and more intense dramatic scenesthe show didn't always go ahead. However, Cobra Kai season 6 certainly changed that.

However, Cobra Kai Season 6 fixes that in a huge way with Part 2's cliffhanger before the show's final five episodes. In episode 10, all the Sekai Taikai contestants get into a fierce fight. While the cameras are rolling and the teams are supposed to compete in the ring, these students engage in an intense battle, with even the coaches getting in on the action. However, there is nothing friendly about this competition and ends with Kwon's death after he tries to wield a knife against another fighter.
The fact is that Cobra Kai You can't take back death on the show. Although Miguel's injury was quickly swept under the rug and he returned to fighting shape quickly, Kwon is gone for good. This shows the show's growth and offers opportunities for resolution, like between Johnny and Daniel, or Sam and Tori, but for others, like Kreese and Terry Silver, the show explores the ugliness and brutality of conflict. Now, with the incredibly aggressive Kwon suffering fatal consequences for his headstrong and reckless approach, the show has become darker than ever.
Considering that audiences likely have links to the original films, it's safe to assume that most people watching at home are adults. And when it comes to creating adult content, complex, thought-provoking stories are often better. Although the comedy was fun and there are still light and bright moments, Cobra Kai Embracing these difficult topics only makes the show stronger. And with Kwon's fatal ending in Cobra Kai Season 6, the show certainly did that.
