A new image shows Sebastian Stan recreating an iconic moment from Captain America: Civil War with a talented cosplay artist disguised as Tony Stark's Iron Man in the MCU. Since it debuted in 2011 Captain America: The First AvengerSebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes has been at the center of Marvel Studios' Captain America stories. He was initially the best friend, sometimes adversary, and eventual ally of Steve Rogers' Captain America, and later fought alongside Sam Wilson's Star-Spangled-Man, and contributed to some of the MCU's most iconic moments.
One such moment saw Bucky Barnes, under the control of HYDRA, fight Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark and the other Avengers after being freed by Zemo in 2016. Captain America: Civil War. This moment was recreated by Sebastian Stan at the 2024 Tokyo Comic Conwith cosplayer NAWOQI playing the role of Tony Stark, bringing to life the moment when Barnes fires a bullet into Stark's armored hand. This match is excellent, with Stan delivering the perfect level of intensity alongside NAWOQI, a self-described "lover of western films."

The cosplayer acting alongside Sebastian Stan in this image is NAWOQI. NAWOQI has cosplayed various characters from the MCU and other major film franchises at many conventions for several yearsalthough his most famous character is Tony Stark's Iron Man. Equipped with several different Tony Stark costumes, including those from The Avengers, Avengers: Endgame and even a full Iron Man armor, NAWOQI's dedication to the role is truly impressive and almost perfect.
In cosplay as Iron Man, NAWOQI has recreated some of the MCU's most memorable moments, even some featuring the MCU's legendary stars. This includes Doctor Strange's moment of End of the game with Benedict Cumberbatch, Tony Stark's fight with Loki The Avengers with Tom Hiddleston, fighting the Black Order with Spider-Man in Infinity War and return Captain America's shield in End of the game. NAWOQI also recreated Iron Man's emotional sacrifice in the MCU End of the game in full costume, which is very powerful.

Bucky Barnes and Tony Stark shared a few scenes together in the MCU, so it made sense that this iconic moment would be mentioned when NAWOQI met Sebastian Stan. The fact that Sebastian Stan appears to be back in character in this photo proves his dedication to the role of Bucky Barneswhich will be great to see translated into his next Winter Soldier interpretation in 2025 Rays*. Bucky Barnes started to become a hero in Captain America: Civil Warso it's great to see Sebastian Stan paying tribute to this project almost a decade later.
