The title, genre, and plot details of Christopher NolanThe next film has been revealed. The film already has a star-studded cast that includes Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong'o. While this is Holland, Zendaya and Nyongo'o's first time working with the acclaimed director, the other actors cast so far have starred in many of Christopher Nolan's films, including Interstellar, Oppenheimer, The Dark Knight Risesand Principle.
Universal Images has now revealed that the project is officially titled The Odyssey and it will be a mythical action film. It will bring the epic saga of Homer's poems, The Odysseyto life in cinemas for the first time. As detailed in previous reports, Nolan's film will be shot using IMAX technology and will be released globally in theaters on July 17, 2026, around the same time that Nolan's last film, the critical and commercial hit Oppenheimer, was released. .
