Christopher Lloyd opens a DeLorean time capsule in a Back to the Future-inspired video

Christopher Lloyd and Back to the FutureThe iconic DeLorean has reunited in a new video. Lloyd first played Dr. Emmett Brown, commonly referred to as Doc Brown, in Back to the Future. He later reprized the role in Back to the Future, Part 2. And Back to the Future Part III. Although Doc Brown had many inventions, the most famous of them was the DeLorean, which served as a time machine. used by him and Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) as they traveled to the past and future.

DeLorean Laboratories now released A Back to the FutureVideo of Lloyd playing himself as he opens the DeLorean time capsule. Directed by Allan Ungar, who previously directed a feature film. BanditThe nostalgic video introduces the Time Capsule collection as Lloyd is given the item by a mysterious man stepping out of a DeLorean. With Time Capsule, we wanted to give our community something fun to celebrate DeLorean’s entry into the digital age. Being a DeLorean was associated with futurism and counterculture. This allows us to be creative and move in ways that other major car manufacturers can’t.

There are three exclusive application windows, with the first one starting on October 11th and the last two from October 28th to November 18th. All final collectibles will be revealed in December.

The Time Capsule collection is part of DeLorean Labs’ ongoing campaign to create a true and modern DeLorean. DeLorean Motor Company had not produced any cars since 1982, three years earlier. Back to the Future was first released. However, the car continued to live on in popular culture thanks to its timeless role in Back to the Future films, as well as appearances in Steven Spielberg films Ready first player and through the LEGO DeLorean set.
