Health stars Ted Danson and Kelsey Grammer look back on their time working on the beloved sitcom and talk about a heated argument between them that spanned nearly three decades. The NBC sitcom focused on a Boston bar and the lives of its employees and patrons ran for eleven seasons, from 1982 to 1993. Grammer met with Danson at Where everyone knows your name podcast and reflected honestly on his time in Health‘set, both the good and the bad. During the conversation, Danson admitted that he remembered a time when he made Grammer mad at him for an undisclosed reason. Although the details were kept secret, the actor admitted that he felt the experience had a negative impact on any potential relationship the two could have had, which led him to apologize. Danson: It’s stuck in our memories. But I feel like I missed the last 30 years of Kelsey Grammer, and I feel like it was my fault, and I almost feel like apologizing to you. No, I don’t feel like – I apologize to you and me for backing off, you know, and I didn’t. And I truly apologize.
Thanking Danson for the belated apology, Grammer stated that he still had great respect for his co-star despite their past falling out, adding:
Grammar: My love for you has always been as easy as day. As easy as the sunrise.
