The trailer for Heartstopper Season 3 previews a massive milestone for Charlie and Nick. Heartstopper Season 2 ended with Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) ready to text the words ‘I love you’ to his boyfriend Nick Nelson (Keith Connor). There’s a bit of mystery hanging over the development, however, since the Finale ended with Charlie asking if he should send the message.
Netflix has released the full trailer for Heartstopper Season 3, with All eight episodes are set to release on Thursday, October 3. Check it out below:
The trailer features the song “Vertigo” by Griff. Although it begins on a cheerful note, with Nick and Charlie enjoying a day at the beach with their friends, there is a darker tone throughout. El (Yasmin Finney) and Tao (William Gao) struggle to take their relationship to the next level. Charlie and Nick also discuss the topic of intimacy and sex. But the main focus of the nearly three-minute trailer is that Charlie is dealing with personal issues that Nick isn’t sure he can help with.

The adaptation is getting more mature.
Heartstopper Season 3 will open with an episode, titled “Love,” picking up with Charlie eager to tell Nick how he feels. But with the end of summer and a new school year approaching, the young protagonists will have to look ahead to their university plans and realize that things don’t always go according to plan. Alice Oseman, the show’s creator and author of the graphic novels on which the series is based, also said that The third installment will be more mature in tone.
Along with Connor, Locke, Gao and Finney, the Heartstopper The cast includes Corinna Brown (Tara), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Toby Donovan (Isaac), Jenny Walser (Tori), Rhea Norwood (Imogen), and Leila Khan (Sahar).
The shift is backed by the latest trailer, which highlights intimacy challenges and serious topics. But the trailer also spotlights some new additions to the Heartstopper cast, included Agent Carter Hayley Atwell stars as Nick’s Aunt Diane, Emmy-nominated Fellow travelers Lead Jonathan Bailey as Jack Maddox’s boss, who is also Charlie’s celebrity crush, and Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan) as Charlie’s therapist Geoff.

Deep in a profile of Joe Locke from earlier in September, Variety Remember that Oseman plans to finish Heartstopper With season 4 if it is renewed. If that’s the case, the fan-favorite Netflix show is continuing and will bend by telling a complete coming-of-age story for its central duo and their friend group.
