Unfortunately, the other players don't believe him because of how ridiculous his claims are. They change their ways after the first group of people are shot.

Furthermore, Thanos begins to pressure other players so he can win, even though he knows they will be murdered. This moment defined the squid game character from season 2, establishing the audience's expectations about how he will behave in future episodes. Viewers will also get to see the perspective of the Masked Men – something the first season left out. The knowledge that they are also being manipulated and prayed to adds an extra layer to the show. These changes add visual and narrative diversity that keeps Red Light, Green Light interesting.
In the last significant change, Gi-Hun rushes back to the field to save a man who is shot in the leg, thinking the character might have a chance to die in a better way. Optimism makes it all the more tragic when the Masked Men let Gi-hun save the man only to shoot the eliminated player in front of the returning champion. This moment foreshadows the bleak prospects for squid game season 2 finale.
I'm pleasantly surprised by how Squid Game Season 2 keeps up the momentum of Season 1.

The best new characters in Squid Game Season 2 feel realistic and nuanced. The infighting between the players is equally significant in the second season. The new and deadly children's games captured my attention. Despite my misgivings, I must praise Hwang Dong-hyuk's ability to expand a story and a world, even if I hated the gunfight in the final episode. There is no doubt that squid game season two will continue to captivate viewers, just like season one.
