Companions have always played an important role in BioWare games, and Dragon Age: The Veil Guard continues with seven fascinating companions to meet and recruit. Talking and meeting companions still make up a large part of the narrative and can often inform roleplay decisions. However, gone are the days of exhausting dialogue options whenever the team is at home base, as Dragon Age: The Veil Guard has a smart new solution for chatting with companions.

The latest chapter in the franchise features a fantastic range of companions who also serve as romance options for Dragon Age: The Veil Guard. Each has a rich history, likes and dislikes, and Companion-specific missions to further their own narratives within the epic story of the ancient elven gods and the end of the world. And fortunately, Dragon Age: The Veil Guard eliminated any confusion or annoyance in becoming more familiar with Rook's new allies, with a significant improvement over the past Dragon Age games.

Companion stories and relationships are enhanced each time the team returns to the Lighthouse, the Dread Wolf's strange former base in the Fade, operating in much the same way as in the past.
