Call Of Duty Black Ops 6’s first season brings big changes and fans of an iconic character are thrilled to see

Peter Stormare’s The Replacer is heading to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in Season 1 and will be a new playable Operator for fans to enjoy. The Replacer Tracer bundle pack comes with two different skins for the iconic character from the commercials, including the Standard version and the Blackcell version.

THE Call to action account on X posted a screenshot of The Replacer, with the words “I’m your father now.” front and center. Some fans hope at least one of the lines includes this phrasebut the developers have not yet commented on their appeals.

From commercials to the real deal

Initially The Replacer was only seen in commercials and was available for a limited time in Black Ops 4 as a playable character in the title’s Blackout mode. Although that hasn’t stopped some fans from speculating that he could join Black Ops 6 at some point. A Reddit post by ItzMeHaris who initially didn’t know who the character was, shed some light on his past. Within this post there were several comments, one of which, by Ibrahim0991states, “there is also a rumor that he will be a skin in bo6.”

While some fans are familiar with the character, others are still confused about his origins. The Substitute was a character from Call to action commercials that would take the place of a player in real life so they can enjoy what the title has to offer. Whether it’s dinner with the family or commuting to work from 9am to 5pm, The Replacer was created to run errands for fans so they never have to leave the game room.

New maps, zombie changes, modes and more

The replacement isn’t the only cool new feature

While The Replacer title may be the main focus for some, There are many other features and changes that come with the new carrier. Three new maps will arrive at the start of the first season, with two more coming. Zombie fans will also get a Guided mode, which is a “guided experience” for those who want to experience the story behind Liberty Falls and Terminus at launch.

War zone players will experience new modes and features including Resurgence, Battle Royale, and Plunder playlists at launch. Later in the season, Battle Royal Ranked Play will be introduced along with a multitude of new limited-time game modes for fans to enjoy. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 The first season is set to begin on November 14th, giving players plenty of time to marvel at everything the newly released title has to offer before purchasing the newest operator.
