Double XP tokens have always been in high demand in Call to action games, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is no exception. These tokens significantly speed up your progression to level up your operator and weapons. They are temporary multipliers, increasing experience points (XP) earned from game activities. The best way to unlock Double XP tokens is through limited-time promotions or external events. You'll want to pay attention to the officer X account for Call to action as well as the War zone Trello. Both locations typically update these pages with information about the upcoming Double XP weekend. PlayStation has contracts with Activision that give it preferential treatment, like longer Double XP weekends, so if you're playing on PlayStation, expect a note in every announcement that your weekend will be longer. Other ways involve reaching new levels of prestige. Reaching the first level, Prestige 1, gives a one-hour token. DLC typically comes with tokens for weapon XP and general XP. You can also purchase Monster Energy or Little Caesars pizza when they run promotions for the game. Unfortunately, these usually don't give you much time with Double XP Tokens. It's always better to wait for a Double XP weekend because then you don't have to worry about how long it takes and you can level up a good weapon like the best AK-47 loadout in BO6.

The use of Double XP Tokens depends on how you got them. Weekend Double XP Tokens cannot be accumulated. It is essentially a token offered and used to last an entire weekend or however many days the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 the developers decided. So I don't think missing the event or checking in quickly will keep the token. This is also the time to play multiplayer, not the campaignso don't use this time to try to solve all the Safehouse puzzles or other campaign-related things in one double XP weekend.
Always plan ahead when using Double XP tokens and you will never regret it.
For Double XP Tokens you want to use, save them until you can capitalize on them. There is no way to pause a token once you activate it, so make sure you can play for as long as you have. Typically this means you should play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for at least an hour to capitalize on a Double XP token. Also, make sure it's a token you want to use, as weapon XP and general XP are very different. If you have weapon XP, you will only want to use a weapon that you are trying to level up.
