The end of Prime Video Brothers Everything seems to be working out for Peter Dinklage and Josh Brolin’s twin characters, although perhaps not in the way they expected. The crime comedy film follows Judy (Dinklage) and Moke (Brolin), twin brothers who have been partners in crime since childhood. However, in the 40s, Moke began to clean up while Jadi was sent to prison. The latter twin finally gets a chance for a fresh start after making a deal with the corrupt judge Farful (M. Emmet Walsh) to retrieve some emeralds their mother Kath (Glenn Close) dumped 30 years earlier.
Judy gets wrapped up in the latest crime, but they can’t pull it off without their unapologetic deadbeat mom. With Judge Farful’s son (played in Brothers by Brendan Fraser) Close on their tail, the family trio hit the road, infiltrate a country club, dig up a body and retrieve the emerald. However, when confronted by Farful, Cat makes a break for him. Jadi, Moke, and Cat betray each other a few more times after this, but a showdown with Farful in an abandoned mall brings out the best of them. Kat takes the case and goes to jail, while her sons take the money– Although it is a little more complicated than just that.
The last two emeralds in Brothers’ End explained
How Jadi managed to get his hands on the last emeralds
at the end of BrothersWhen the titular couple left their visit with Cat in prison, Judy unveiled two more emeralds – useful since both he and Moke had given away their cut of the bag of money Cat had left for them. These are the jewels Kat didn’t sell after her betrayal earlier in the filmInstead of packing them for future use. A flashback reveals that she quickly swallowed the emeralds (just like her partner did 30 years earlier) before he was arrested. So the police did not find the stones, and they could choose what to do with them later.

Kat and Judy must have come to an agreement before their visit at the end of Brothers. Kat asked to stop Blueberry shortly before the visit ended and A few moments later passed the baby to Jadi, subtly handing over the emeralds as well. However, Kat swallowed three emeralds, while Judy only showed Moke two – one for each of them. The mystery of the third emerald was quickly solved, however. The last seconds of Brothers Finally discovering that Dinklage’s story throughout the film was Judy tells an elderly Blueberry the whole exciting tale, and he reveals to his niece that he has secretly kept the third for himself.
Why Jady & Moke both helped their money
Jady & Moke followed Cat’s example
Glenn Close’s Cat sold all but three emeralds in BrothersSo the bag of money she, Jadi, Moke, and Farful fought over in the abandoned mall would have been worth several million dollars. After her arrest, Jadi and Moke split the loot, but neither of them have access to the money at the end of the film. Moke used his money to pay Judge Farful for the gun Covered with Jadi’s print, which the old man had used as collateral to keep the password under control. This selfless act ensured that Jadi would not be sent back to prison and could fully enjoy his new freedom.
This meant that if the Mungers ever hoped to see that money again, they had no choice but to name the baby Blueberry once it arrived.
To match his brother’s sacrifice, Jadi also gave his cut of the money. He placed the money in a trust for Moke’s baby– A selfless but foolish move since Moke planned to use his brother’s wealth when needed. To make matters worse, Judy lists the child’s name as Blueberry, believing that this is what Moke had planned to name his daughter. This meant that if the Mungers ever hoped to see that money again, they had no choice but to name the baby Blueberry once it arrived. Fortunately, Kath handing over the last few emeralds meant that Jadi and Moke had their hands on some riches regardless.
Cat’s Sacrifice & Redemption Explained
Kat isn’t great, but she’s not all bad
From the beginning of brothers, It was clear that Kat was not a very good mother. She led her boys into a life of crime, and once she stole the emeralds, everything went downhill. It was over 30 years before Judy and Moke ever saw their mother again, and Kat only got them to listen to her by claiming that she was ill with only limited time left. This was obviously a lie. To make matters worse, Kat took off with the emerald when Farful had her sons at gunpoint. It seems that she intends to take the jewels, get some money, and flee the country while Jadi and Moke roll in jail.

However, something changed for Kat when she saw her sons fighting with one another during the mall brawl Brothers. She saw the distrust between them, which inspired her to make an uncertain decision for the first time in her life. Kat knew of an escape route, but rather than take it herself, she told her sons what to do, swallowed the last emeralds and faced the police. Not only that, but rather than keep the emeralds himself, Cat handed them over to Judy. She may have been a terrible mother, though The decisions in BrothersThe end redeemed her in the end.
What happened to Brendan Fraser’s crush in Brothers’ ending
Farful’s father did not care what happened to him
Brendan Fraser’s fallout was the primary villain of BrothersAlthough he was a little more than a servant to his father, Judge Forful. He is desperate throughout the film to get Jadi to follow up on his end of the deal and retrieve the emeralds for him, primarily so that his father will recognize his effort and worth. Unfortunately for Farful, the last time he was seen in brothers’ end, He is trapped under a burning Christmas tree after his fight with Moke and Jadi. Although it was implied that he would be okay, Farful’s relationship with his father surely would not be improved by such a startling failure.
He tells the older Farful that he doesn’t have much time left, a sentiment repeated throughout the film about Moke’s relationship with Cat.
We don’t see exactly what happens to Farful, but Moke’s meeting with the man’s father provides some additional hints. After giving the judge his bag full of money, Moke asked what had come of the corrections officer. The judge didn’t know or care, but the relationship between father and son inspired Moke to give one final warning. He told the old man that he didn’t have much timeA sentiment repeated throughout the film about Moke’s relationship with Kat. It is unclear in Brothers‘ Whether the judge would take this advice, but it can be hoped that another conflicted parent-child relationship would be healed.
Marisa Tomei’s brothers cameo explained
Tomei’s Bethesda served an important purpose
One of the funniest moments in Brothers Came from Marisa Tomei’s cameo. The actor played a spiritual, aura-reading character named Bethesda, who corresponded with Jadi while he was in prison. Jadi wanted to stop by Bethesda’s house for a romantic rendezvous (which resulted in Moke’s own unexpected romantic rendezvous with an orangutan named Samuel), but It was finally revealed that there was an ulterior motive here. Jadi wrote back and forth with Bethesda because She was employed by the country club where Cat had buried Glenn decades earlier.
finally, Brothers Revealing that everything Judy and Kat had was for a reason – even Tomei’s romantic prison pen pal. They’ve been planning the operation for months, and poor Moke just ends up along for the ride (after Jadi secretly gets him fired from his job). Although pretty despicable, it all turned out okay for the Mungers in the end. Kat might have ended up in jail, and Moke was forced to name his daughter Blueberry, but they all got filthy rich – so it was worth it.
