After four seasons, Superman and Lois is finally coming to an end, but before that happens, the final episode promises an incredible showdown that fans have been waiting to see throughout the show. In Superman and Lois Season 4, Episode 9, “To Live and Die Again”, Milton gets an upgrade to Steel’s suit, which officially becomes Lex’s battle suit, giving him enough strength to physically take on the Man of Steel. Superman & Lois Season 4, Episode 9 updates Steel’s suit to become Lex’s battle suit

Milton continually aided Lex Luthor in his attempt to destroy Superman throughout his appearances in the final season, and after hacking Steel’s suit finally gave Lex Luthor his biggest chance to take him down. After upgrading the costume, Lex Luthor finally has his comic costume, which he has used countless times to level the playing field when fighting Superman. Superman & Lois Final Teaser Shows Fully Updated Lex Luthor Vs Superman Is Coming

The entirety of Superman and Lois season 4 was leading to the promised final climactic battle between Superman and Lex Luthor. It’s the perfect way to end the series, as the hero faces his most iconic villain for the last time. There is a lot of disagreement between Clark Kent, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor in Superman and Loisas Luthor wants revenge on Kent and Lane for helping send him to prison for 17 years. As the promotional footage for the finale shows, none of the characters will be able to contain themselves.

The final fight between Superman and Lex Luthor won’t be the only one featured on the show. The two have already fought Superman and Lois season 4, episode 6, but under very different circumstances. This fight was before Luthor obtained his suit, with him stripping Clark of his own abilities through red sunlight. It was a devastating fight between two equals at the time, making the rematch even more noteworthy, as both characters will be significantly more powerful than in the first fight, with one caveat.

Superman & Lois Final Story Makes It Possible That Lex Luthor Could Actually Kill Clark Kent

During the penultimate episode of Superman and LoisLex Luthor unleashes Doomsday on Smallville, and the end of the episode shows a battered and nearly broken Superman being ripped away by the vicious monster. In fact, Superman did not survive his initial encounter with Doomsday at the beginning of season 4, having to have a heart transplant provided by Lois’ father, General Sam Lane, after his own death. Afterwards, it was revealed that Clark Kent’s new heart was not compatible with his Kryptonian body.

This caused Superman to slowly grow weaker as the season progressed, never returning to the full strength he had before his death. This makes his final fight with Lex Luthor incredibly dangerous. Depending on how his fight with Doomsday ends, Superman could be weaker than ever, giving Luthor the advantage with his suit and opening up the possibility of Clark Kent actually dying. Superman and Lois has always been content to do its own thing, and this could be the kind of bold move the series would make when it ends.
