Bleach partners with Puma on special anime collection, but it will cost a lot

In November this year, the legendary anime and manga series Bleach celebrates 20 years with an exclusive collaboration with iconic streetwear fashion brand, Puma. The collection features two iconic sneakers inspired by the characters Ichigo Kurosaki and Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, as well as stylish clothing. With BLEACH: Thousand Year Blood War Currently airing its third season to rave reviews, this collaboration comes at a perfect time and allows fans to celebrate the iconic shōnen’s enduring legacy through sophisticated fashion. The collaboration is now on sale exclusively in Japan at retailers like HOMEGAME and Lafayette.

BLEACH follows Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who becomes a Soul Reaper tasked with protecting the living world from malevolent spirits and guiding lost souls to the afterlife. Tite Kubo’s manga debuted in 2001 and ran for 15 years, and with the addition of its anime, BLEACHShōnen’s popularity has cemented it as one of the most iconic Shōnen series. Puma, a global sportswear giant Founded in 1948, it has become an icon in its own right, known for its innovative streetwear designs. Anime’s influence on pop culture is stronger than ever and BLEACH X Puma seems like a natural fit.

The iconic manga/anime celebrates 20 years with Soul Society style

The Palermo is one of Puma’s signature silhouettes and the BLEACH Ichigo’s manga panels decorate the sides, with black suede and leather accents adding a touch of luxury to the $113 (¥17,600) sneakers. A matching black t-shirt showcases Ichigo’s various fighting ways and retails for $50 (¥7,700), and both items are sure to be in high demand.

Espada’s Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez makes up the other half of BLEACH X Puma. The Delphin sneaker features blue flames rising from the white sole atop Grimmjow manga panels printed on white leather. Puma adds its signature details with a accent running down the sides and a bright blue label on the shoe’s tongue. The Grimmjow Delphins can be paired with the matching white t-shirt for $50 (¥7,700).
