Fans hope Part 4 will have substantial new material

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Part 4: The Calamity will cover the final chapters of the Bleach manga, and based on how little of the manga remains to be adapted (only about 24 chapters), many fans are hoping that Part 4 will include large amounts of new content, designed to improve on the manga's rushed ending and offer a more satisfying conclusion. satisfactory for the manga. series as a whole and the Thousand Year Blood War bow specifically. Tite Kubo is said to be working especially closely with Studio Pierrot on Part 4, giving fans hope for an ending that will surprise them.

With most of Yhwach's elite guards dealt with, the anime's story still needs to wrap up the fight with Askin Nakk Le Vaar, as well as Gerard Valkyrie and Jugram Haschwalth. Then the story can finally move into the latter stages of the battle against Yhwach himself, with his seemingly unstoppable level of power. This is where most fans expect the expansion to happen; the final battle with Yhwach is considered quite unsatisfying in the manga, skipping over some potentially really cool moments in the rush to get to the end.

New Bleach teaser hints at an important time

The teaser reveals a major spoiler for the manga

Askin catches Yoruichi by surprise.

The teaser may seem unrelated to what's to come given its focus on Ichigo's sword(s), but it actually references an important moment in the manga that, if explained in detail, would definitely constitute a spoiler. That Bleach teaser makes reference to Ichigo's confrontation with Yhwach, along with a very controversial moment in their fight that is quite shocking to fans upon its first reading.

The reference to this scene in the teaser may leave some fans disappointed, as this particular moment was one that many expected to be changed in the anime. Of course, the reference is indirect enough that the scene could still be substantially altered, at least for the moment in question. If this kind of change is enough to satisfy Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War fans hoping for a new ending will have to remain to be seen.
