The trailer centers on a 12-year-old girl, Bailey (played by newcomer Nikia Adams), who lives in a derelict building in North Kent, England with her estranged father Bag, played by Barry Keoghan. Seeking attention and adventure outside her home, Bailey befriends Bird (Franz Rogowski) and begins to understand the meaning of friendship.

Barry Keoghan, who received an Academy Award nomination for his supporting role in The banshees of InisherinOnce again showcases his youthful, quirky energy in the Bird Trailer. Keoghan is more of an established name because of his roles in Marvel and DC movies Bird Will hopefully introduce more of the uninitiated to Andrea Arnold’s naturalistic approach. With strong direction and performances, Bird Turns out to be a heartfelt, visually stunning, and unexpectedly unique coming-of-age story.
