Staffs are your main type of weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. The staffs are all inspired by Sun Wukong’s famous pillar/staff in Journey to the West. Staffs range in rarity from common to epic to mythical. While the best stick in the game may not be enough to secure an easy victory, it will certainly help you on your journey.
Each stick comes with a unique effectThe linchpin to staff effectiveness. Some stuffs require crafting materials like Spider Legs, Venomous Hair or Samadhi Wind Agate. Other staffs are dropped after defeating bosses, and some others have extra stats like Defense. Regardless of how you get the stick, some tower over others in strength and unique effect.

Not surprisingly, the best stuffs are those of the highest rarity, viz Mythical and legendary. You may not be able to carry the staffs when fighting bosses like Black Bear Guai In Black Myth: WukongBut as you progress through the game, these are the stuff to hunt down above all others.

Some staffs like the Chu-Bai Spear cater to specific stances in Black Myth: Wukong While other than the Spider Celestial Staff shown in Detech Gaming’s YouTube video Have extra critical hit chance.
If you don’t like the unique effects of the S-tier stuff, you should find something good in the A-tier.

B-tier staffs range in rarity from Epic too rare And will probably accompany you on a large part of your journey. They aren’t too bad, as they all have decent damage. They can suit you well when you collect and make higher tier stuffs.

Only one even has a unique effect. You’ll want to quickly ditch the stuff Black Myth: Wukong.
