In Pokemon Trading Card Game PocketPsychic-type decks have become an extremely popular choice for competitive battles – and for good reason. Building on former Mewtwo's strengths, this deck has the power to quickly dispatch opponents with minimal effort. Its main competition comes from the former Pikachu deck, which is undeniably powerful in its own right.
However, with a well-designed strategy, this Psychic deck can overcome any opponent it faces. To succeed in battle against other players in TCG Pocket, you must have a balance between Pokémon and Supporter cardsand this deck has just that. With two cards with two important abilities and one with great damage, this deck sees the best of Psychic Genetic Apex cards.

Mewtwo Ex is supported by two extremely strong Pokémon
This deck involves setup and use TCG PocketMewtwo ex, one of the best Genetic Apex cards in the game. With “Psychodrive”, you can attack the opponent for 150 damage in one move. This is an impressive number, have the ability to eliminate several cards from the game. Mewtwo ex is a basic card and can easily be placed in the Active Spot from the first turn, having 150 HP to absorb any initial battle attacks. After just two Psychic Energy, this card can start dealing damage, dealing 50 damage with “Psychic Sphere.”
However, Mewtwo ex's 150 damage attack also discards two energy from the card. This means that Gardevoir setup is essential. This card has an ability called “Shadow Spy”, which will give psychic energy to the Pokémon in the Active Spot. This means it will take less time to set up.”Psychodrive” and eliminate the opponent. Additionally, the skill allows you to dispatch the attack every turn, with the naturally accumulated energy from the energy zone added to the skill's energy.
Hypno acts as a strong card to fill the remaining spot in the deck. As a buffer, both Hypno and its pre-evolution Drowzee can absorb damage while you wait for Mewtwo's ex to come out of your deck. This card also has an important ability, the “Sleep Pendulum.” This allows you to flip a coin for a chance to put your opponent's Active Pokémon to sleep, further protecting Mewtwo's ex. You can bench this Pokémon and use this ability every turn, making it cheap and effective.

The Supporter cards in this deck are also important in battle against real players. Sabrina allows you to force your opponent to switch their active Pokémon, giving you a more favorable opponent card. This should be done when facing ex-cards with high HP, especially early in the battle before the ex-Mewtwo has enough energy.
