What does this mean for Madagascar
The franchise still has an audience
The fact that the animation comedy films have managed to gain a foothold on the Disney+ charts in the face of such strong contemporary and seasonal competition that it shows that they still have wide audience appeal. If films continue to dominate the charts, it could spell good news for the possible Madagascar 4which has so far never come to fruition, despite recent rumors in 2017.
