Below deck Mediterranean Season 9’s villain Ellie Dubaich has had a tough time throughout the Charter season, however Her latest behavior showed just how jealous she is of Chief Stu Aesha Scott’s success.. throughout Below deck Mediterranean Season 9, Ellie was one of the few cast members of the season who struggled in their position. While Ali had a difficult time in her role, the second Stu was open about her hopes to become a Chief Stu in the future. Working under Aesha, Ali should get a great exposure to the job.
Rather than soaking in what Aesha’s doing, however, Ali spent the majority of it Below Deck Med Season 9 Charter season dealing with personal issues between herself and fellow Stu Brie Mueller. While Ellie and Bree started off on the right foot, both women found themselves drawn to Lead Deckhand Joe Bradley early in the charter. Ellie shared she was interested in Joe, but Brie made the first move and hooked up with Joe behind Ellie’s back. After a series of blowouts from both women, the dust seems to have settled, however Ali’s behavior on Mustique did not improve.

Ellie’s time on Mustique was difficult, primarily because she was having a hard time adjusting below deck Meds second stew. Although Ali has almost a decade’s worth of yachting experience, her performance on the Mustique was not the best, especially knowing that she hopes to become a Chief Stav soon. Ali was unable to complete tasks completely, ignoring the aspects of her job that required cleaning up after herself or delegating work appropriately. With issues around prioritization and time management, Ali was struggling to make it clear to Aesha that she could handle her position.

Although Ali had the experience to back her up, the fact that she had such a hard time on Mustique was clear to Aesha. Chief Stu noticed that Ali was not able to complete all her tasks, delegate to the third Stu Berry appropriately, or prioritize the work that needed to be done first at a time. While Aesha understands that Ali wants to advance in her career, She was clear that Ali was not ready to take on such a big shift in her work If she can’t successfully navigate as a second cousin, either.

While Ali and Brie were told that Carrie would be floating around for Aesha to see what she was best at, Ali took offense to the idea that Carrie could finally take the second Stu role if she was the best fit.

Although Ali was clear that she was concerned about her role, Aesha explained thoroughly that if Carrie was better suited for the second Stu role, Aesha would make her assessments accordingly. While Ali was more concerned about Ray, Aesha explained that she was looking to understand what would make their crew function better. She shared with Ali that if she needed to move roles around, it would be at her discretion, and As Chief Stu, she was allowed to make any adjustments she saw fit within the team. Ali accepted Ashe’s explanation, but she was not happy.

While Ali has been working on Mustique all season, things have been particularly difficult for her in the last stretch of the charter. Despite knowing she’s been slacking at her job, Ellie truly believes she deserves to be a Chef, and doesn’t seem to realize she’s not ready for the job. Below Deck Med Leadership role. instead, Ali is irritatingly jealous of Aesha’s role as Chief Stu and wants to stay away from matters over which it has no jurisdiction. The second Stu needs to reevaluate her attitude and adjust forward.
Should Ali make it to the end of the charter season?

While Allie may not have been as much of an emotional wreck as Brie was throughout the Charter season, her behavior was worse and father reaching. If Ali’s attitude does not shift after carrying aboard Mustique for the next charter, She should be let go before the season’s end. Even with just a little Below deck Mediterranean Charters left, Ali’s behavior should not be tolerated if it continues.
