Batman: Calm down is one of the most successful DC Comics of all time, and next year the creative team of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee will return for the sequel. Silence 2which is being styled as H2sh. DC has released the first look at art for the upcoming story, as fans get a look at what one of next year's most anticipated releases will look like.
Releasing on March 25, 2025, details from DC about what the story will be are scarce. What fans know is that Silence 2 will start in Batman #158 and go reunite the classic Silence team of Loeb, Lee, Scott Williams, Alex Sinclair and Richard Starkings.
To celebrate the occasion, DC is pulling out all the stops, with Batman #158 receiving variant covers from the likes of Gabrielle Dell'Otto, J. Scott Campbell, Dan Mora, Sean Murphy and more.

Set to roam Batman #158-163, the first six issues will only be the first half of the total Silence 2 sagawith the story ending with six more issues in 2026. DC has teased a sequel in the past. Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition trade paperback, which contained an all-new coda that showed how Thomas Elliot/Hush survived the end of the original story. The next preview came in late 2025 Justice League Unlimited #1 (by Mark Waid and Dan Mora), as Hush assembled paper dolls of Gotham City's various heroes and villains and cryptically arranged them on a map while quoting Aristotle.
Fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what Hush has in store for Batman and the inhabitants of Gotham City, but DC certainly isn't skimping on the chance to celebrate the occasion. In addition to the series of variants for Batman #158, the publisher will also release a special series of covers in honor Silence 2 across the DC line. Titles like Batman / Superman: the best in the world, Catwoman, Detective comics, Harley Quinn, Superman, What's more, each one will have their own Silence 2-themed variant covers, coming from artists like Mitch Gerads, Tyler Kirkham, Gleb Melnikov, Giuseppe Camuncoli and more.

By bringing together the creative team to produce a sequel to one of the greatest Batman stories of all time, DC created a wave of excitement among comic book fans. Batman is currently on the rise thanks to the huge success Absolute Batman series, and DC looks to keep up the excitement next year by bringing the all-star team of Loeb and Lee back to the month Batman title for the first time in twenty-one years. DC and the creators have a lot on their plate, so here's hoping the sequel Batman: Calm down will more than live up to the pre-release hype.
