Yancey is on the run from Detective Mendez, an officer who has a lot of bad blood for Yancey and will probably bend the law to get revenge on him. It is surprising, however, that Yancey did not come clean to his old detective partner Rogelio (John Ortiz), who is also given a nasty ultimatum by Sheriff Sonny Summers to avoid Yancey.
