character: Like Daniel, Ali is revealed to have seen the “backrooms” And even happened to record some of it during one of his visits there. A coder, Ali’s lack of spiritual belief does not mean that he ignores the metaphysical implications of seeing the alternate dimension, which he believes to be connected to guilt. Now in prison for vehicular manslaughter, Ali is the one who explains the concept of the “backroom” to Daniel (and the audience).

American Horror Stories“Backroom” storyline is largely focused on DanielBut it fleshes out its story with some additional characters in its orbit. His agent and best friend Aaron is played by David Pittu (damages), who seeks to help him with his grief. Matthew Ebi (The penguin) appears as Daniel and Riva’s son, Daniel. Puri Bauman (Tick, Tick… BOOM!) appears as the Red Woman, a haunting figure who exists in the realms between life and death.

As with the others American Horror Stories, “Backroom” seems to be largely a self-contained storyAlthough it plays with the kind of images and themes that have always been at the heart of the franchise. Although the focus is almost entirely on Daniel, the episode also includes a number of faceless extras who appear as haunting figures in the “backrooms” and who chase Daniel through the halls of the realm. It allows this episode of American Horror Stories To have a deceptively large figure, even if it has only a few capital letters.
